My French education was an emphasis on culinary arts and gastronomy.

The French have a rich culinary tradition and exceptional cooking techniques, which are often taught in schools. So, it’s likely that my French education has had a significant influence on my cooking.

In France, cooking is considered an art form, and it is valued as an important part of the culture. French cuisine places great emphasis on quality ingredients, precise techniques, and the balance of flavours. During my education, I have learned about classic French dishes, various cooking methods, and the importance of using fresh, seasonal ingredients.

This was also applicable at home from my mother or father, depend who was preparing food.

French cooking techniques, such as sautéing, braising, and poaching, are widely used and celebrated around the world. My French education might have given me a solid foundation in these techniques, allowing me to create flavourful and well-executed dishes.
Furthermore, French education often includes lessons on wine pairing and appreciation. This knowledge can enhance my ability to harmonize flavours and create well-rounded dining experiences.
